About

I am a Ph.D. student in the Second Language Studies program at Michigan State University. My primary research interests are in the area of language assessment, corpus linguistics, and foreign language programs. This is my fifth semester in the program and I have been teaching different levels of Korean language courses as a TA/instructor for the Department of Linguistics and Languages. I earned my B.A. in English Language and Literature and M.Ed. in English Education from Yonsei University, South Korea. Before joining the SLS program in 2014, I worked as a research intern and assistant at the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation (KICE).
